Orchestra.
Lim has been actively involved in performing and recording contemporary Australian music since
2014, when she recorded works by emerging Australian composers Peter McNamara and Brad
Gill for the inaugural Sideband CD. She continues to champion Australian repertoire through solo,
chamber and piano ensemble performances.
An active ensemble pianist, Lim is a member of the International Piano Duo Association and the
Piano Duo Association of Korea. She has performed piano duet recitals across Australia and East
Asia, including a tour of Japan, South Korea and Australia with pianist Kiha Kang in 2018. In
2021, she received Create NSW funding through the Play the City initiative for Australian Piano
Works for Four Hands, a project with pianist Melody Chung that has evolved into an ongoing
artistic venture. Since 2025, she has also collaborated with Dr Eun-Jung Byun on a project
exploring Korean piano duet and duo repertoire, including works receiving their Australian
premieres.
Through her performance and collaborative projects, Lim continues to foster cultural exchange
between Australia and East Asia, bringing Australian music to East Asian audiences and
