This Cathedral Church is a  place of prayerful encounter and  community for all the people of Aotearoa New Zealand.

You are warmly invited to attend any act of worship in the Cathedral.

Opening hours

Monday - Friday: 8am - 5pm
Saturday: 10am - 2pm

We do not charge an entrance fee to the Cathedral however you are encouraged to leave a donation.

Parking at the Cathedral

The Cathedral leases its car park out to Wilsons Parking from 6am to 7pm on weekdays.

While we do retain some car parks, it is best for you to contact us at the office should you wish to use them.

May God meet with you here; inspire you by faith, fill you with hope and guide you in love.

Photography

There is no restriction placed upon the taking of photographs in the Cathedral outside the service times. Those doing so may, however, be invited to make a contribution.

Special permissions must be obtained for still photographs to be taken within services.

Permission must be sought from the Dean, or in the case where the Dean is not present, the Officiant of the occasion.

School tours

We run school tours lead by trained Cathedral guides. These include a tour of the building and introduction to our history, and can also include information about particular points of interest. Please contact the Cathedral office for more information.

Services and recitals

The Cathedral holds regular services and recitals - you are warmly invited to join us for these. Please respect those taking part by not talking or taking photographs.
