Kia ora! It’s great that you’re keen to take part in this year’s Kids’ Sustainable Wearable Arts Show. This is the third year we have run our show and we are looking forward to some exciting new ways for you to participate this year.
What: Wearable Arts Catwalk Show
When: Saturday 19 August 2017
5pm rehearsal and BBQ dinner for entrants and families
7pm catwalk show
Where: Wellington Cathedral of St Paul
cnr Hill and Molesworth Streets, Thorndon
How much: It’s free to enter your costume. We will ask for a koha from the audience which will go towards Sustainable Costlands
Who: Years 0-8 - we are inviting individuals, church children’s groups, schools and beyond. Please spread the word. You can work as individuals or teams - it’s up to you!
Why: To raise our voices for climate care as kaitiaki / guardians of God’s earth!
We have put a lot of information on the cathedral website which includes details about how to register, some tips about creating your costume and what will happen on the day.
