The ten organ symphonies of Charles-Marie Widor () stand at the pinnacle of the organists’ repertoire. Join Michael Stewart and Richard Apperley as they explore this rich music in the first major recital series on Wellington Cathedral of St Paul’s new Viscount Regent Classic organ. Those familiar with Widor’s ‘Toccata’ will be able to put this famous movement in context, and experience many more musical gems as well.
Entry is by suggested donation of $10, with all proceeds going towards the ongoing maintenance of the Cathedral’s Music Department.
